About the role
The Clinical Coordinator provides clinical leadership and day-to-day coordination of the State-wide Forensic Service multidisciplinary team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, safe and coordinated care to children and adolescents experiencing mental health issues in the context of forensic matters.
Key duties of the role
Coordinate and oversee multidisciplinary team responsible for the delivery of service for CAMHS
Ensures staff working collaboratively with consumers in the development of individual care/treatment plans using a recovery framework
The Clinical Coordinator provides clinical leadership to ensure culturally safe services, consistent practice standards and effective service outcomes.
Oversee local resource management within a corporate administrative framework
Implement and coordinate quality management across unit in line with WCHN risk management framework and professional practice framework
Skills and Experience
Relevant degree with eligibility for AASW membership, Psychology registration, or Occupational Therapy registration
Registered or eligible for registration as a Registered Nurse with NMBA and completion of an approved Mental Health qualification
Minimum 3 years’ post-registration experience for the Registered Nurse pathway
Demonstrated leadership, clinical expertise and experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams
Demonstrated experience in child and adolescent mental health, including working with children, adolescents and their families
