About the Role

Due to continued growth and ongoing operational requirements, Contract Resources is seeking an experienced and motivated Training & Competency Administrator to join our team based in Perth, WA.

Reporting to the Training Lead, you will be responsible for coordinating internal/external workforce training, maintaining competency and compliance records, and supporting the ongoing development and capability of our operational workforce. Working closely with employees, operational teams, training providers, and key stakeholders, you will help ensure our people remain trained, competent, and compliant.

Based out of our Jandakot office, this role offers hybrid working opportunities and flexibility for candidates seeking between 3 to 5 days per week. It is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business and make a meaningful contribution to workforce development and compliance.

Duties will include but are not limited to

Coordinate the scheduling and booking of internal and external training programs for employees across multiple locations
Maintain training and competency records, ensuring employee certifications, licence's, and qualifications remain current and compliant
Support the development, coordination, and implementation of workforce training plans aligned with operational and business requirements
Monitor training compliance requirements and proactively identify upcoming training renewals and competency gaps
Liaise with Registered Training Organisations (RTOs), training providers, operational teams, and internal subject matter experts to facilitate training delivery
Coordinate online training requirements and monitor employee completion rates
Maintain training databases and workforce competency matrices, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information
Ensure training activities are delivered in accordance with legislative, client, and company requirements
Collaborate with Workforce Planning and Operations teams to support resource planning and workforce readiness
Build and maintain strong working relationships with employees, leaders, training providers, and key stakeholders
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance workforce capability, compliance, and training effectiveness

Requirements & Experience Needed

Minimum 2 years' experience in a Training Administration, Competency Administration, Workforce Administration, or similar role
Previous experience within Oil & Gas, Mining, Industrial Services, Construction, or a related operational industry will be highly regarded
Understanding of training compliance requirements, competency management, and workforce development processes
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records and documentation
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels
Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Ability to pass Pre-employment Medical Assessments
Current Australian Driver's Licence (preferred)
