- Join an award-winning digital team – B2B eCommerce Association APAC award winners, 2025 and 2026
-
Senior leadership role owning a nine-figure digital sales channel across APAC
-
Hybrid working (WFH 3 days, 2 in office), based at any Motion office location in Australia
We are looking for a commercially minded Head of Product to own the vision, strategy and roadmap for Motion's digital portfolio across APAC: our B2B eCommerce platforms, our enterprise eProcurement integrations and the product capability behind them.
This is a digital product leadership role. The products are our websites, eCommerce platforms and customer-facing integrations – it is not a product merchandising or category management role.
The seat is senior: a nine-figure digital sales channel, at the centre of Motion's 5-year strategy to become the most digitally connected industrial distribution business in APAC, with the backing of a global industrial organisation.
Reporting to the GM – eCommerce & Digital, you will lead a multi-disciplinary team of product managers, business analysts, data analysts and UI/UX designers, turn customer insight into shipped product, and carry measurable commercial outcomes in a complex B2B environment.
Why join us?
-
Help make Motion the most digitally connected industrial distribution business in APAC – the goal at the centre of our 5-year digital strategy.
-
Join an award-winning team – recognised at the B2B eCommerce Association APAC Industry Awards in both 2025 and 2026.
-
A senior leadership seat over a nine-figure digital sales channel, in a funded, multi-year transformation backed at group level.
-
Own a multi-region APAC portfolio on a modern composable stack: commercetools, Algolia and Contentful on MACH architecture, hosted on Google Cloud.
-
Ship eProcurement integrations (PunchOut and EDI) with national enterprise customers in mining, manufacturing and infrastructure.
-
Present product strategy and investment cases to executive forums, with direct senior stakeholder access.
-
Lead and grow a multi-disciplinary team spanning product, business analysis, data and UI/UX design – set the operating rhythm and raise the bar.
What are we looking for?
You are a digital product leader who turns customer insight into clear priorities, practical roadmaps and measurable results. You are comfortable in a complex stakeholder environment and can balance customer value, commercial outcomes and delivery feasibility.
In this role, you will:
-
Own and evolve the digital product strategy and roadmap across web, eProcurement and platform integration products across APAC.
-
Lead and develop a team of product managers, business analysts, data analysts and UI/UX designers.
-
Lead product discovery, planning, prioritisation and lifecycle governance.
-
Make product decisions from customer insight and data.
-
Partner with delivery, CX, eCommerce operations, sales and marketing teams to land initiatives.
-
Present product strategy and investment business cases to executive forums.
-
Mentor and grow product capability across the organisation.
Skills and experience required
-
7+ years' product management experience, including senior leadership in digital or eCommerce environments.
-
A record of defining and launching digital products in complex B2B or enterprise settings.
-
Demonstrated people leadership: building and developing multi-disciplinary teams across product, analysis, data and design.
-
Experience with composable commerce, MACH architecture or headless platforms (e.g. commercetools, Contentful).
-
Strong capability in product discovery, customer research, business-case development and data-led decision-making.
-
Roadmap planning and prioritisation frameworks such as OKRs, RICE or MoSCoW.
-
Excellent communication and influencing skills across executive, technical and commercial audiences.
-
Working knowledge of tools such as Jira, Confluence, Power BI and Google Analytics.
-
B2B eProcurement (PunchOut / EDI) experience is desirable.
