Full Job Description

Description:
Overview of role:
Coliban Water is seeking an experienced Change Manager to join our Rural Water Efficiency Project (RWEP) team on a 2-year fixed-term basis (with potential for extension).

The RWEP is a landmark initiative designed to modernise and optimise the Greater Bendigo rural water system, improving service and water efficiency for more than 1,150 rural customers.

Reporting to the Manager Project Governance, you’ll work across the organisation to lead and support the people, policy and procedural side of change arising from RWEP initiatives, helping our people understand, prepare for and successfully adopt new systems, processes and ways of working.

Key Responsibilities:
As Change Manager, you will:
Develop and deliver change management and communication plans for key RWEP initiatives.

Undertake stakeholder assessments, change impact assessments and readiness activities.

Develop engagement, communication, training, resistance and reinforcement strategies.

Identify and proactively manage change impacts, risks and issues.

Partner with leaders, project teams and stakeholders to build understanding and acceptance of change.

Facilitate workshops, engagement activities and coaching sessions.

Support leaders and teams to build their change management capability.

Build strong relationships across Coliban Water and with external partners and suppliers.

Contribute to the implementation and continuous improvement of Coliban Water’s Change Management Framework.

About you:
You’ll be an experienced change professional who understands that successful transformation is as much about people as it is about processes.

You will bring:
Demonstrated experience as a Change Manager, Change Analyst or similar, ideally within complex, enterprise-wide transformation programs.

Strong experience developing and implementing end-to-end change management plans.

Experience in stakeholder and change impact assessments, communications, training and reinforcement strategies.

Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation and coaching skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The ability to influence and support people through periods of significant change.

Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines.

A collaborative and practical approach to change delivery.

Change management practitioner qualifications or accreditation and / or experience in business architecture and / or process mapping will be highly regarded.

Salary:
The salary and conditions for this position will be as per the Coliban Water Enterprise Agreement 2021 Band 4 $93,548 - $116,119 plus super salary range will be offered to the successful candidate commensurate with their skills and experience. This role is a Fulltime Ongoing/ Fixed term position.
