WHAT ARE WE OFFERING?
Join our Casual Pool at Gumeracha Hospital as a Services Assistant, where you will provide timely, efficient, and effective catering, laundry, and cleaning services across the health unit. Duties may include food preparation, service and delivery to patients, along with general housekeeping to support a safe and welcoming care environment. This role operates across a seven-day roster and requires the ability to work morning and afternoon shifts

- Undertake a range of vital support duties including food preparation, cleaning, laundry and stock handling to keep daily operations running smoothly.
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently, following clear instructions while adhering to infection control and WHS standards.
- Provide respectful assistance to patients, clients, and staff, maintaining confidentiality and supporting culturally safe and inclusive care.
- Contribute to a positive, team-focused workplace by participating in training, quality improvement, and helping identify opportunities for better service delivery.
- Enjoy variety in your work covering mornings and afternoons, seven days a week
