We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Registered Surveyor to join our Illawarra team. This fantastic role will suit someone looking to work on various projects in a friendly and supportive team with a growing market leader. Our Wollongong office is located in the heart of the CBD, within a modern and secure building just steps from the Crown Street shopping district and a short walk from the scenic South Wollongong Beach. With an energetic and growing team, our Wollongong Office is the perfect space for a balanced work environment.

Responsibilities

Deliver cadastral and subdivision surveys in accordance with the Surveying and Spatial Information Act 2002 (NSW) and Regulations.
Map and define boundaries for urban, rural, and regional developments.
Certify and register plans with NSW Land Registry Services (LRS).
Manage projects from design through to construction completion.
Liaise with clients, councils, consultants, and government agencies.
Provide mentoring, and technical guidance to junior team members.
Oversee project budgets, invoicing, and documentation.
Implement quality assurance and ensure work meets our client’s standards.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our surveying processes and systems.

Skills and Expertise

Bachelor of Surveying (or equivalent) with significant experience in the land development industry.
Current Registration with BOSSI as a Registered Surveyor (NSW).
Strong understanding of NSW subdivision processes and LRS requirements.
Proficiency in 12D, AutoCAD, and modern survey instrumentation.
Current NSW Driver’s Licence, White Card, and First Aid Certificate.
Membership with the Institution of Surveyors NSW, SSSI, or similar body (desirable).
