Join our team at the Auburn Heavy Maintenance Centre as a Trade Assistant. We currently have three temporary opportunities available, with contract terms ranging from 11 to 22 months. These positions support the development of a skilled future workforce, strengthen local communities, and contribute to the ongoing success of NSW's transport industry.
Key responsibilities include:
- Picking, labelling, and packaging components into kits for project dispatch
- Conducting cycle counts and performing general warehouse duties
- Organising parts accurately and maintaining clean, efficient storage areas
- Supporting compliance and dispatch processes
- Collaborating closely with supply chain and planning teams
- Applying mechanical aptitude to identify, handle, and prepare stock
- Contributing to safe and efficient logistics operations with strong attention to detail

You know your way around warehousing systems and can recognise and organise mechanical parts with confidence
You are confident working independently, managing your time effectively to meet deadlines. At the same time, you are highly collaborative, working seamlessly with trades and stakeholders to ensure safe, efficient operations while maintaining high standards.
