We're currently seeking experienced and safety-focused Forklift Operators to join our Back of House Logistics Team for the Australian Open 2027.

The Position

As a Forklift Operator, you'll play a critical role in ensuring stock and equipment are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time across the precinct.

Key responsibilities include:

Operating forklifts to transport food, beverage, retail and event inventory throughout Melbourne Park.
Loading and unloading deliveries from trucks and distribution vehicles.
Supporting the receipt, storage and distribution of stock across multiple venues and storage locations.
Assisting with inventory control and stock movement processes.
Maintaining safe and organised loading dock and storage areas.
Conducting equipment checks and operating in line with all safety procedures and regulations.
Working closely with warehouse, stores and venue teams to support daily operational requirements.
Contributing to efficient logistics operations during one of Australia's largest major events.

The Person

We're looking for professional operators who thrive in high-volume environments and take pride in safe work practices.

You'll have:

A current LF Forklift Licence.
Demonstrated forklift operating experience in warehouse, logistics, events, hospitality or distribution environments.
A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
Experience loading, unloading and transporting stock efficiently and safely.
The ability to work under pressure and meet tight operational deadlines.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to stock accuracy.
Physical fitness and the ability to work on your feet in a fast-paced event environment.
Availability throughout the Australian Open event period, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
