About Fusion Foodz
Fusion Foodz is a growing food business supplying quality food products directly to consumers and businesses at wholesale prices.
We offer a range of products including our own prepared foods, pasta, lasagna, meats, chicken, wings, sauces, pantry products, fresh produce and more.
We are now looking to take Fusion Foodz to the next level and we're looking for someone who wants to be part of that journey.
About the Role
This is not a traditional retail position.
We are looking for an energetic, commercially minded person who can be the day to day face of Fusion Foodz and help us grow the business.
You will be based at our Fusion Foodz location Monday to Friday, but your role will extend well beyond serving customers.
You'll work closely with the owners, kitchen/production team and marketing team to help drive sales, develop new ideas, understand our customers and build the Fusion Foodz brand.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is ambitious, creative and wants to take ownership of something rather than simply come to work, do a job and go home.
What You'll Be Doing
Drive Sales
- Be the face of Fusion Foodz and provide an outstanding customer experience
- Actively sell products and identify opportunities to increase sales
- Build relationships with regular customers and local businesses
- Identify potential wholesale and business customers
- Follow up leads and sales opportunities
- Develop promotions, bundles and sales initiatives
- Monitor sales performance and look for ways to improve it
- Help grow repeat customer sales and average transaction value
Build the Brand
- Become an expert on Fusion Foodz and our products
- Work closely with our marketing team and provide ideas for social media and content
- Identify products, stories and customer experiences that can be turned into content
- Assist with product launches, tastings, promotions and events
- Help develop ideas that make Fusion Foodz stand out in the market
Product Development
We want someone who listens to customers and turns their feedback into ideas.
You'll help identify:
- Products customers are asking for
- New flavours, products and ranges
- Product combinations and bundles
- Opportunities to improve existing products
- Trends and opportunities in the food market
You'll then work with our team to help turn good ideas into real products.
Run the Day to Day Business
- Ensure the shop is presented professionally every day
- Monitor stock levels and product availability
- Identify slow-moving and fast-moving products
- Assist with ordering and stock management
- Monitor pricing and competitor activity
- Provide regular feedback on what customers are buying and asking for
- Assist with basic sales reporting and business analysis
- Help identify opportunities to improve the profitability of the business
What We're Looking For
We're less interested in a long list of qualifications and more interested in the person.
You could come from retail, hospitality, food, sales, marketing or another customer-facing environment.
You might have 1–3 years experience, or you might simply be someone with the right attitude who is ready for their next opportunity.
We're looking for someone who is:

- Someone who notices opportunities and acts on them
- Hungry to learn and grow
