ABC Group Services is seeking an experinced Project Coordinator to join our growing team in Pagewood.
The successful candidate will coordinate the planning, mobilisation, delivery and close-out of projects across light rail, traffic management and civil infrastructure industries.
Acting as a key link between clients, operational teams, field personnel, subcontractors and suppliers, the Project Coordinator will help ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule and in accordance with contractual and regulatory requirements.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The main duties of the position include:
- Coordinate projects from initial scoping and planning through to delivery, reporting and commercial close-out.
- Liaise with clients to understand project requirements, define scope, clarify deliverables and identify operational needs.
- Prepare quotations, cost estimates, project budgets, commercial proposals and supporting documentation.
- Develop and maintain project plans, work programmes, schedules, progress reports and project records.
- Coordinate qualified workforce, subcontractors, vehicles, plant, materials and equipment.
- Organise rail access, shutdown activities, traffic management requirements, permits, inductions and compliance documentation.
- Liaise with clients, rail network operators, Transport for NSW representatives, councils, contractors, suppliers and internal teams.
- Monitor project scope, schedule, costs, risks, quality, compliance and approved changes, addressing issues as they arise.
- Provide project and site delivery support, including stakeholder communication and operational issue resolution.
- Review project performance and coordinate timesheets, variations, invoices, completion reports and final documentation.
- Identify and develop new clients and project opportunities within the civil construction, heavy rail and infrastructure sectors.
- Support market research, client engagement, expressions of interest, tenders, pricing proposals and the handover of newly secured work into operational delivery.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
To be considered for this position, applicants must have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Project Management, Construction Management or a related discipline. Equivalent relevant qualifications and experience may also be considered.
- A minimum of three years of relevant experience in project coordination, project administration, project delivery or operational coordination.
- Experience in rail, traffic management, civil construction, transport infrastructure or a comparable project-based environment.
- Experience in project planning, resource coordination, quotations, cost estimates, procurement and project reporting.
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety, project compliance, permits, inductions and rail or traffic management requirements.
- Strong organisational, communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to use project scheduling, reporting and document management systems.
- A current Australian Driver Licence and General Construction Induction Card – White Card.
- A current Rail Industry Worker card and relevant competencies, or the ability to obtain and maintain the requirements applicable to assigned projects.
Experience with rail shutdowns, track access, Transport for NSW projects, business development or tender preparation will be highly regarded. A Prepare Work Zone Traffic Management Plan qualification or other relevant NSW traffic management credentials will also be advantageous.
Applicants must be available to travel to project sites and provide occasional support during shutdowns, night works or other out-of-hours activities.
Pay: $80,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
