As the Senior Occupational Therapist & Team Leader (Level , you will provide leadership, guidance, and line management to the Acute Neurosciences Team in collaboration with the Occupational Therapy Managers. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team delivering high‑quality care across neurology, stroke, neurosurgery, ICU, and in‑reach rehabilitation services.

Working in a high‑demand and fast‑paced environment, you will provide clinical supervision, support, and expertise to ensure the delivery of safe, timely, and person‑centred care. You will also play an important role in planning, implementing, evaluating, and reporting on services, using your analytical skills to identify opportunities for improvement in clinical practice and service delivery.

Provide leadership, guidance, and line management of the Acute Neurosciences Team in collaboration with the Occupational Therapy Managers
Deliver clinical supervision, support, and expertise to ensure safe, timely, and high‑quality person‑centred care
Support clinicians working across adult inpatient neurology, stroke, neurosurgery, ICU, and in‑reach rehabilitation services
Be involved in the planning, implementation, evaluation, and reporting of services to support the day‑to‑day functioning of the department
Use your analytical skills to identify opportunities for improvement in clinical practice, service delivery, and patient outcomes

Selection Criteria
To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.

Recognised Degree in Occupational Therapy or other qualification deemed appropriate by the employer, with registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Demonstrated high level clinical expertise and knowledge of providing occupational therapy assessment and intervention to a wide range of neurological conditions in an acute setting.
Demonstrated experience in the management, clinical supervision and mentoring of staff and/ or students.
Demonstrated experience in implementing the quality improvement process for service evaluation and development, and/or implementing evidence into clinical practice.
Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P. Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
