What You Will Get to Do :
Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain high-quality software applications using modern software engineering practices and technologies.
Participate in the complete SDLC, including requirements analysis, technical design, development, testing, deployment and production support.
Develop and maintain applications using .NET, C#, SQL Server and other relevant technologies.
Work closely with business analysts, product owners and other technical teams to understand requirements and deliver effective software solutions.
Develop and maintain REST APIs, web services and application integrations as required.
Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, development guidelines and best practices.
Troubleshoot complex technical issues, conduct root cause analysis and implement effective and sustainable solutions.
Work closely with application support and infrastructure teams to resolve production incidents and ensure system availability.
Contribute to CI/CD automation and DevOps initiatives using tools such as Octopus Deploy, TeamCity, Git/TFS, PowerShell and other tools.
Participate in technical design discussions and provide recommendations on application architecture, performance, scalability and maintainability.
Compile and update technical documentation, design specifications, development guidelines and operational manuals.
Identify opportunities to improve application performance, reliability, maintainability and overall engineering efficiency.
Mentor junior software developers and contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives.+
What You Will Bring:
IT degree, or equivalent experience
6+ years experience working in a Software Engineering / Software Development role
Strong experience with C# and .NET development
Solid experience with SQL Server and relational databases
Strong understanding of SDLC principles and software development methodologies
Experience working with Agile development practices and methodologies
Experience working with ITIL based processes
Experience developing and integrating REST APIs and web services
Understanding of CI/CD practices and DevOps methodologies
Experience working with source control systems such as Git/TFS
Experience with PowerShell or other scripting/automation technologies
Experience working with AWS and Virtual Environments
Strong troubleshooting, debugging and problem-solving skills
A passion for developing high-quality, scalable and maintainable software
Keen to continuously improve & innovate
Strong understanding of application performance, monitoring and optimisation
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and production support teams
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
