Primary purpose of the role
The Senior Data Analyst delivers high-quality data analysis and insights, and reporting that enable evidence-based decisions on divisional investments, performance and priorities. The role partners with project, program, and portfolio stakeholders to integrate and interpret complex data, develop performance reporting frameworks, and dashboards, and provide insights that improve transparency, optimise resource allocation, and support strategic portfolio management.
Key accountabilities
- Integrate, analyse, and interpret portfolio, project, and financial data to provide insights on investmentperformance, capacity, and resource utilisation.
- Develop and maintain reporting products, including dashboards, and analytical tools that monitorportfolio health, benefits realisation, and alignment with divisional priorities.
- Conduct analysis on demand, capacity, and project pipeline data to inform portfolio prioritisation andresourcing planning decisions.
- Provide evidence-based recommendations and expert advice to business teams and stakeholders toguide operational and strategic decisions.
- Support governance, performance, and benefits reporting ensuring accuracy, consistency andalignment with frameworks.
- Identify and implement improvements to data processes, analytics tools, and reporting workflows toenhance data integrity, accessibility and efficiency.
- Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable insights and visualisations that supportexecutive reporting and communication.
- Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure integrated, accurate and timely data acrosssystems and reporting platforms as well as provide subject matter guidance and support to project andinitiative teams to enhance capabilities across the project delivery ecosystem.
