The Opportunity
Reporting to the General Manager, you'll take ownership of a commercial sales territory, developing new business while strengthening existing customer relationships.
You'll work closely with consultants, architects, developers, commercial builders and contractors to identify project opportunities, drive specification sales and manage projects from quotation through to commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial customers and key accounts.
- Develop new business opportunities and increase market share.
- Build strong relationships with consultants, architects, developers, builders and contractors.
- Conduct customer presentations, product training and business reviews.
- Manage commercial projects from quotation through to commissioning.
- Work closely with technical, project support and service teams.
- Maintain CRM records, sales forecasts and reporting.
- Represent General Australia at industry events and networking opportunities.
About You
You'll bring:
- Experience in Business Development, Account Management or Commercial Sales.
- A background in HVAC, air conditioning, refrigeration, mechanical services, building products or a related industry.
- Experience working with consultants, builders, contractors or developers.
- Strong relationship-building, communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- A current driver's licence.
Trade or tertiary qualifications in Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline will be highly regarded but are not essential.
