Your New Role
The Due Diligence, Investment Managers (OpsDD) team is part of the broader Investment Enablement function, supporting a specialist team of investors who manage over $230bn on behalf of our members.
As a Senior Analyst in the Due Diligence, Investment Managers team, you'll play a key role in assessing and monitoring the operational strength of investment managers across public and private markets. Working closely with investment, risk, legal and governance stakeholders, you'll help identify and manage operational risks while supporting informed investment decisions across a growing global portfolio.
- Conduct operational due diligence reviews of both prospective and existing investment managers
- Assessing governance frameworks, organisational structure and personnel, regulatory compliance, risk management practices, investment and operational infrastructure, service provider oversight, valuation frameworks, financial controls, technology, cybersecurity, business continuity, and operational resilience.
- Conduct and participate in onsite operational due diligence reviews of investment managers, engaging with senior management and C-suite executives.
- Prepare high-quality due diligence reports and present findings, recommendations and risk insights to investment teams and stakeholders.
- Analyse operational processes across listed and private market investments, including valuation, service provider oversight and regulatory compliance frameworks.
- Contribute to enhancements in due diligence methodologies, risk frameworks and monitoring processes to improve efficiency and quality of outcomes.

- Experience in operational due diligence is essential; further exposure to investment operations, audit, risk or a related discipline, ideally across multiple asset classes is highly valued.
- Working knowledge of global and local compliance regulations is essential, including relevant Australian regulatory requirements such as APRA SPS 530 (Investment Governance), CPS 230 (Operational Risk Management), ASIC regulatory guidance, and the Modern Slavery Act."
- Relevant qualifications in finance, economics, accounting, commerce or a related discipline. Professional qualifications such as CFA, CA, CPA or CAIA are highly regarded.
- Strong understanding of listed and unlisted investments, including private equity, infrastructure, real estate and credit.
- Ability to assess control environments, identify operational risks and provide clear, evidence-based recommendations.
- Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outputs.
- You are balanced in accepting risk in any decision you face. You are curious to understand risk context and choose to speak up as we simplify, learn and grow.
