Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer with 6–8 years of hands-on software development experience and strong exposure to the BFSI domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance applications across both frontend and backend technologies.
The candidate should have experience working on enterprise-grade applications within Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance environments and should be comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile delivery environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable full-stack applications.
- Develop robust backend services, RESTful APIs, and microservices.
- Build responsive and user-friendly frontend applications.
- Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and third-party services.
- Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-tested code.
- Participate in requirements analysis, technical design, development, code reviews, and production support.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues across frontend and backend layers.
- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and other stakeholders.
- Contribute to application performance, scalability, security, and reliability improvements.
- Follow Agile/Scrum development methodologies and participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Ensure development practices comply with enterprise security and quality standards, particularly those relevant to BFSI applications.
Required Skills & Experience
- 6–8 years of professional experience in full-stack software development.
- Proven experience working in the BFSI domain – Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance.
- Strong hands-on experience in backend development using technologies such as Java/Spring Boot, .NET/Core, Node.js, or equivalent.
- Strong experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React.js, Angular, or equivalent.
- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases; experience with NoSQL databases is an advantage.
- Good understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, data structures, and software development principles.
- Experience with Git-based version control and CI/CD practices.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is preferred.
- Experience with unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and code quality practices.
- Understanding of application security, authentication, authorization, and secure coding practices.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on banking, lending, payments, insurance, wealth management, financial crime, or other BFSI applications.
- Experience with cloud-native applications and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment processes.
- Experience working in large-scale enterprise application environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a hands-on Full Stack Engineer who can independently contribute across the frontend and backend layers, has experience delivering enterprise applications, and understands the specific requirements around security, compliance, reliability, and scalability in BFSI environments.
Pay: $720.00 – $750.00 per day
