The Opportunity
Ventia has two opportunities available for Contract Administrators to join our AGFMA team in Adelaide.
The Across Government Facilities Management Arrangements (AGFMA) contract is one of South Australia's largest and most diverse facilities management contracts, supporting more than 5,000 government assets across 48 agencies. From schools and hospitals to emergency services and office accommodation, AGFMA plays a critical role in delivering safe, efficient and sustainable facilities services across the state.
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, this role is responsible for providing accurate and timely contract administration support across head contract and subcontract obligations. You will work closely with operational and commercial teams to maintain contract records, monitor obligations, coordinate correspondence and support compliance with contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to)

Contract Administration: Maintain contract and subcontract registers, contractual correspondence, notices, claims and key documentation to ensure obligations are effectively managed.

Commercial Support: Provide commercial and administrative support to the Commercial Manager and operational teams, including monitoring contract deliverables, variations and approvals.

Compliance & Governance: Support compliance with contractual requirements, delegations of authority and governance processes, ensuring records are accurate and audit-ready.

Reporting & Documentation: Coordinate the preparation and maintenance of reports, submissions and contract documentation to support informed decision-making.

Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong working relationships with internal teams, subcontractors and client representatives to facilitate effective contract outcomes.

Continuous Improvement & Risk Management: Assist in identifying contractual risks, supporting the resolution of issues and improving processes, systems and controls to enhance contract performance.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:

A qualification in Business, Commerce, Contract Management, Project Management, Accounting, Finance, Law or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.

Demonstrated experience in a Contract Administrator, Commercial Administrator or similar role, with sound knowledge of contract administration, document control, contract registers and compliance requirements.

Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across operational, commercial and client teams.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience working with contract management or business systems.

A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a commitment to continuous improvement and positive commercial outcomes.
