What you’ll do

We are looking for a talented Senior Software Engineer to join our AI and Automation Team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the APIs that power document ingestion and integrations of our Core AI platform at CORTO.

This is an incredible opportunity to be part of an engineering team building the next generation of our products.

To make this happen you will

Design, develop and maintain multiple microservices that are centre of document ingestion and integrations using C# and .NET technologies
Maintain and enhance Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines that connect enterprise knowledge sources with Large Language Models (LLMs).
Prototyping and experimentation with new AI techniques ensuring alignment with best practices and industry standards.
Working extensively with AWS, including S3, ECS, SQS, AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, and more
Optimising code for performance, scalability, and maintainability
Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members
Working closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver efficient solutions

What you’ll bring

You are a focused, motivated and hard-working developer who wants to join a fantastic growing team at a critical time and learn on the job to expand your skills. In addition to that you will bring:

5+ years’ hands-on experience with ASP.NET Web API
A track record designing scalable, event-driven systems
A strong grounding in building RESTful APIs
Experience with MS SQL, PostgreSQL or PostgreSQL
Experience with DynamoDB or any other NoSQL database
Experience with AWS or other cloud computing platforms
Experience with Claude Code, Github Copilot or similar agentic AI code generation tool
