Applications are invited for professional, committed, and enthusiastic Inclusive Learning Teacher Aides to join our community.
The Department is a dynamic and integral part of the School and works with all academic and pastoral departments to provide the highest quality educational experience for all students. The Department oversees individual, small group and small class programs for students requiring learning support. Applicants with a background in supporting student numeracy across Years 5-10 will be favourably considered.
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Inclusive Learning Teacher Aide for a full time, term time, fixed term contract commencing on Monday, 3 August 2026 and concluding on Friday, 27 November 2026. Subject to school requirements, there may be an opportunity for the contract to be extended into the 2027 school year.
We are also seeking to expand our pool of Casual Inclusive Teacher Aides to provide support during periods of School activity and staff absences. These contracts will commence on Monday, 3 August 2026 and finish on Friday, 27 November 2026.
Key Responsibilities
Provide in-class support of individuals and small groups with Personalised Learning Plans to aid them accessing the curriculum.
Undertake resource and assessment task sheet modifications in accordance with approved Access Arrangements and Reasonable Adjustments.
Undertake the documenting of adjustments and recording of evidence suitable for processes such as NCCD and QCIA.
Provide support during the administration of exam sessions for students with ‘separate venue’ adjustments and other students as directed by the Head of Department – Inclusive Learning.
Perform a range of other administrative tasks set by Head of Department – Inclusive Learning in support of department objectives.
Role Requirements
Hold and maintain a current Queensland Working with Children Clearance (Blue Card).
Have approval to work in Australia.
Have or maintain the appropriate clearances, qualifications or registrations required to perform the inherent functions of the role.
