Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced and NDIS-registered Behaviour Support Practitioner at Core or Proficient level to join our dynamic, interdisciplinary allied health team. In this team, you will work with a diverse caseload of both adult and paediatric clients. You will collaborate closely with individuals with disability, their families, support networks, and stakeholders to deliver high‑quality, evidence‑based, and culturally responsive behaviour support services. Your expertise will contribute to empowering clients to achieve meaningful outcomes and live the life they choose.

Responsibilities and Duties

Undertaking comprehensive functional behaviour assessments
Developing and implementing individualised, person-centered positive behaviour support plans
Providing services to clients that teach and encourage appropriate behaviours
Upskilling others in the person's life to encourage and support positive behaviours
Reducing challenging behaviours and working towards the reduction or elimination of restrictive practices
Working cooperatively with families and the broader allied health team to ensure best practice service delivery

Skills, Attributes and Experience

NDIS registration as a Behaviour Support Practitioner at Core or Proficient level (or eligibility to be recognised at this level)
Previous experience working with people with a disability in the context of positive behaviour support
Strong analytical, report‑writing, and clinical reasoning skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment
Must possess or be willing to obtain both an NDIS Worker Screening Check and a Working with Children Check
Must have a valid driver's licence and acess to a reliable vehicle
