Monadelphous' Maintenance & Industrial Service division provides support in the management and execution of construction, maintenance, shutdowns and sustaining capital works. Our delivery of high-quality work within the mining sector has earnt us a solid reputation and enviable relationships with some of the industry’s leading operators. Our Divisional Services team is currently seeking a Senior Contracts Engineer to provide support to the Maintenance & Industrial Services contracts function.

Key Responsibilities:

Project lifecycle contract administration across both Head Contracts and Subcontracts including contract and project kick-offs and extensions.
Coordinate and manage Head Contract obligations, formal correspondences, notices, time-bars, and upstream EOT and Variation claims.
Coordinate and manage Subcontract onboarding process, procurement and subcontract drafting, client approvals, formal correspondences, claims, claim assessments and responses, and closeout.
Pre-contracts and tender stage head contract/panel contract project contractual and scope risk review including assistance with clarifications.
Support and advise both offsite commercial (reporting and strategy) and onsite delivery teams in identifying, recording, and managing change events.
Ensure compliance with Monadelphous’s Minimum Standards including Contracting Guidelines and internal processes coordination to ensure the success of project teams.
Autonomous and ability to develop collaborative relationships with various internal and external stakeholders.
Provide contractual and commercial guidance and coaching to project teams where required.
Ability to undertake site travel on an ad hoc basis.

What you’ll bring:

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar position within the industry
Experience in the resources industry including multidisciplinary projects is highly desirable
Strong attention to detail and coordination skills
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach with the ability to foster interpersonal relationships across all levels
Demonstrated ability to maintain quality and attention to detail when working to deadlines in a fast paced and changing environment
Excellent computer skills in MS Office Suite. Experience in Felix, PIMS, Aconex is desirable
