We are seeking an experienced
Full Stack Developer to join our Technology team on a
12-month full-time contract, supporting the delivery of a major pharmacy technology transformation initiative. This is an exciting opportunity to work on business-critical applications that improve pharmacy operations, automate workflows, and enhance the experience of teams delivering patient care.
About the Role
Reporting to the Lead Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing and supporting secure, scalable full-stack solutions that underpin pharmacy workflow applications and integration services. You'll contribute across the entire software development lifecycle, from solution design through to deployment and operational support.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing, developing and maintaining front-end and back-end application components
- Building RESTful APIs and integration services
- Developing secure, maintainable and observable software solutions
- Contributing to automated testing, quality assurance and defect resolution
- Participating in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning and estimation activities
- Supporting CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps delivery practices
- Conducting peer code reviews and contributing to engineering best practice
- Collaborating with business stakeholders, pharmacy teams and technology partners to deliver high-quality outcomes
About You
We're looking for a collaborative developer who enjoys solving complex problems and delivering practical solutions within a fast-paced environment.
You will bring:
Essential
- Demonstrated experience in full-stack software development
- Strong experience with C#/.NET, API development and RESTful services
- Experience working with SQL Server or other relational databases
- Experience with modern JavaScript or TypeScript frameworks
- Knowledge of Git, Azure DevOps and CI/CD practices
- Understanding of secure coding principles, automated testing and application support
- Experience working within Agile delivery environments
Desirable
- Experience within healthcare, pharmacy or highly regulated environments
- Exposure to Azure services including App Services, Functions, Storage and Key Vault
- Experience with workflow automation, document processing, integration platforms or Azure Document Intelligence will be highly regarded
- Understanding of privacy, cyber security and operational risk considerations in healthcare technology
