About the Role
We are currently seeking a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Female Disability Support Worker to support a male participant living in Chelsea, VIC 3196.
The participant lives with his wife, 9-year-old son, and their friendly small dog. We are looking for someone with excellent English communication skills who is passionate about making a positive difference in people's lives.
Available Shifts
- Tuesday: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
- Thursday: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Employment Type: Casual
Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred support with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, household tasks, and hoist transfers (training provided).
- Encourage independence while promoting a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment.
- Support the participant with community access and social or recreational activities, including walking the family dog.
- Administer medications and maintain accurate documentation where required.
- Work collaboratively with the participant, family members, and allied health professionals to deliver high-quality care.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming home environment.

Essential Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- Certificate III in Individual Support (preferred)
- Experience supporting participants with challenging behaviours
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- A respectful, compassionate, patient, and reliable approach to support work
- Current Australian working rights
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- National Police Check
- Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Current Driver's Licence, reliable vehicle, registration, and comprehensive car insurance
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Medication Administration Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module
