An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced and inspiring Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) to join St Vincent's Private Hospital Melbourne (SVPHM) on a permanent full-time basis at our East Melbourne campus.
As the Nurse Unit Manager, you will provide strong clinical and operational leadership, driving excellence in patient care while fostering a positive, high-performing team culture. ABOUT YOU:
You are an experienced and inspiring nursing leader who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and supporting the growth and development of your team. You lead by example, communicate with confidence, and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced healthcare environment.
To be successful in this role, you will have:

Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.

Demonstrated leadership experience as a Nurse Unit Manager, Associate Nurse Unit Manager, or in a similar senior nursing leadership role.

Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop high-performing nursing teams while fostering a positive workplace culture.

Excellent clinical knowledge with a strong commitment to patient safety, quality improvement and evidence-based practice.

Exceptional communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across multidisciplinary teams.

Sound operational, workforce and resource management skills, including experience managing budgets, staffing and service delivery.

A commitment to continuous improvement and achieving outstanding patient and staff outcomes.
