About the role:
We are seeking a Retail Media Manager to join our Mars Petcare team in Australia. In this highly collaborative, future-focused role, you will be our resident expert in Retail Digital Media. Your mission is to maximize shopper conversion by crafting frictionless, personalized shopper experiences at scale. Operating at the intersection of brand, media, shopper, and customer teams, you will execute our retail media budget, lead shopper-led digital strategies, and steer Mars toward a truly data-driven marketing approach.

What will you do?
As the Retail Media Manager, you will lead the strategic planning, negotiation, and flawless execution of online marketing and retail activation plans across key eCommerce and omnichannel customers. Your focus spans three core pillars:
- Define Optimize dComm Retail Media Plans: Partner with the Media Director, agencies, and brand teams to co-create and negotiate high-impact media plans that translate shopper insights into increased brand conversion.
- Drive Commercial Value Collaborate: Own the retail media budget, negotiate pricing directly with retail partners, and align cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Category, and Agencies) to maximize ROI.
What will you bring?
We are searching for an agile, resilient professional who can turn raw data into strategic execution and build exceptional relationships.
- Strong experience in eCommerce and digital marketing within a brand, agency, or retail environment (with a deep understanding of dCommerce campaign execution).
- High degree of comfort with data, finance, and analytics. Ability to translate multi-channel insights into immediate commercial actions.
- Proven track record in project management, with the ability to influence and manage relationships across all levels (up to senior executives) and resolve complex business situations constructively.
- A self-driven, highly motivated professional with acan-do solution-based attitude who thrives in changing, fast-paced environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Media, or a related field is preferred.
