The Senior D365 Developer – ERP Solutions is responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations solutions across NHVR’s corporate systems landscape. The role provides senior technical capability to deliver scalable, secure, and supportable ERP solutions and integrations, while working closely with business analysts, functional consultants, support teams, and stakeholders to ensure solutions align with business requirements and operational priorities.
- Design, develop, and implement high-quality Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations solutions to support NHVR’s Finance, HR, Payroll, Learning, Procurement, and related corporate functions.
- Lead the technical design and development of D365FO modules, enhancements, and customisations, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and maintainable.
- Build and support integrations between D365FO and other enterprise platforms, internal systems, and external business applications.
- Work closely with business analysts, functional consultants, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications and fit-for-purpose solutions.
- Provide senior technical input into solution design, development standards, deployment planning, and release management activities.
- Undertake code reviews and apply development best practices to ensure quality, performance, and supportability of solutions.
- Support the execution and documentation of testing activities, including unit testing, system testing, and UAT support.
- Analyse and resolve technical and application issues in production, including root cause analysis and remediation of defects.
- Contribute to DevOps and CI/CD practices, including source control, environment management, release packaging, and deployment support.

You are an effective communicator who can translate business requirements into technical solutions, provide mentoring and technical guidance to others, and confidently troubleshoot and resolve complex application and integration issues. Your Toolkit for Success
- Minimum 5 years' experience developing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365FO) solutions within medium to large organisations.
- Extensive experience designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting D365FO applications and enterprise ERP solutions.
- Strong expertise delivering complex customisations, extensions, enhancements, and integrations with external systems and web services.
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft development tools and D365-specific development environments.
- Strong capability in systems integration, including APIs, Azure-based services, and external enterprise platforms.
- Experience working with Azure DevOps, source control repositories, deployment pipelines, release management, and CI/CD practices.
- Proven ability to interpret functional and business requirements and translate them into scalable technical designs and high-quality code.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills across ERP applications, integrations, and production environments.
- Experience undertaking unit testing, deployment support, technical documentation, and production issue resolution.
- Ability to work collaboratively with business analysts, functional consultants, support teams, and stakeholders within Agile and DevOps delivery environments.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver solutions with a focus on performance, security, supportability, and business continuity.
- Experience providing technical leadership, mentoring developers, conducting code reviews, and contributing to engineering best practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Highly Regarded
- Experience with Microsoft Azure services, Azure Functions, API integrations, and event-driven architecture patterns.
- Experience supporting corporate ERP domains including Finance, HR, Payroll, Learning, Procurement, Contract Management, or related business functions.
- Experience acting as a senior technical contributor within cross-functional delivery teams.
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
