Full Job Description

Working with our customers at Australia Post isn't just about helping Australians post, shop, bank or pay bills. It's also about helping Aussie businesses service their own customers, keeping millions of people connected and building community resilience. That’s a big responsibility, but you're the go-to teams with the know-how, delivering essential and excellent service for people every day.

About the opportunity

As our Retail Postage Sorter, you’ll play an important part in keeping millions of Australians connected. As you’d expect, plenty of mail and parcels comes through our Post Offices and delivery facilities every day – and our mail sorting teams make sure every delivery gets where it needs to.

Role Details:

Pay Rate $28.12 increases to $30.07 after 3 months + 12% Superannuation
Monday to Friday, 15 hours per week: 3 hours per day
Rotating roster between 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM or 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM
Extensive, supportive (paid) training on commencement

You’ll be

Manually sorting all mail and parcels arriving at the workplace

About you

You’re a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable personality who loves working in a team environment.

You’ll also need to

Call upon your memory and hand-eye coordination while sorting
Be fit to lift up to 16kgs of mail and parcels regularly and stand for your shift
