Recently increased hourly rate from $34.50 - $37 per hour + superannuation + km reimbursement (99 cents per km) +loading charges
Experienced and qualified or brand new to the care industry? Both welcome!
Location - Travelling to visit clients around Lambton and surrounding area
Casual role available - flexible hours and days

We are looking for passionate and caring individuals to make a difference in our clients' lives by assisting them to live at home independently for as long as possible. You will be travelling around East Maitland and surrounding area in a varied and rewarding role - no two days will be the same!!

Day to day role looks like:

Supporting and connecting with our clients assisting with day to day in home tasks - cleaning, tidying, washing and other tasks within the client's care plan
Transport to appointments and shopping
Meal preparation
Social Support or Respite for family/carers
Personal care including assistance with showering and dressing (if qualified/fully trained)

To be successful in this role you’ll need:

A genuine passion for providing high quality care to older Australian's in the community
To be comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people
Good communication skills
To be a reliable team player
To have an understanding of workplace health and safety
Certificate 3 or 4 in Individual Support highly regarded (but not essential)
An Australian driver's licence and access to a registered motor vehicle (essential)
