About the role
As our next Warehouse Supervisor to proudly represent our Maintenance Team on an 8/6 roster out at our Gruyere Project, you will live for challenges and thrive on the variety of work available. In this role, you will:
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of warehouse personnel.
- Maintain a high standard of housekeeping across the warehouse, yard, and outbuildings.
- Manage inbound and outbound freight logistics, ensuring safety, accuracy, and timely delivery.
- Oversee cost-effective and efficient warehouse operations.
- Receive, dispatch, and track all stock entering and leaving the site.
- Lead and facilitate toolbox meetings as required.
- Complete tasks as directed by the Maintenance Superintendent.
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and innovation within Thiess work practices.
About you
- Previous experience in a similar position within the resources sector.
- Demonstrated experience and training in Chain of Responsibility requirements.
- Experience managing a warehousing team.
- Experience with Pronto or JDE (highly desirable).
- A current WA driver's licence (HR preferred).
- A valid forklift ticket.
- A current National Police Clearance.
- Possess a positive leadership style, with exceptional time-management skills and the ability to pivot around priorities while providing guidance, assistance, and supervision to the maintenance team.
- Proven compliance and commitment to health and safety at all times.
