About the role:
Do you enjoy a balance of office work and hands-on operations, servicing customers face to face?
Hardings Hardware is on the lookout for a reliable Branch Coordinator to join on a full-time basis, based in Nerang office.
This role operates a 38-hour roster across Monday to Friday (overtime when required). You’ll be supporting the Branch Manager with a variety of tasks, from responding to phone enquiries, organising deliveries, processing customer orders to hands-on yard work. This includes picking and packing orders, and serving customers.
What you will be doing:
- Responding to customer enquiries and taking special orders
- Organising delivery schedules
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and corporate policies
- Picking and packing orders for timely delivery
- Assisting tradies to ensure fast and efficient service
- Replenishing stock and maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area
What you will bring:
- A strong work ethic and a “can-do” attitude
- Excellent communication skills and a team-first mindset
- Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel
- A current forklift licence is a big plus (but not essential)
- Timber and hardware knowledge is handy but we are happy to train the right person
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with a sense of urgency
