Lead a specialist team delivering mathematics and numeracy support to improve student outcomes across the University.
The Opportunity
You will lead the Mathematics Education Support Hub (MESH), guiding a team of Learning Advisors to deliver high-quality mathematics, statistics and numeracy support aligned to student success priorities from the University Library. You will contribute to operational planning and ensure services align with the University’s strategic objectives for learning and teaching.
You will work closely with academic staff and professional teams to embed numeracy support within curriculum and assessment. This includes consulting on course design, delivering workshops, and providing targeted student support to address learning needs. You will also partner with Schools to design and implement resources that strengthen student capabilities across year levels.
You will use data and feedback to inform continuous improvement, identifying trends in student outcomes to guide program design. You will oversee transition programs and ensure their effectiveness through evaluation, while promoting MESH services across the University to support integrated learning outcomes.

About You

Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field or equivalent experience in mathematics or numeracy education.

Demonstrated experience designing and delivering mathematics, statistics or numeracy workshops and resources.

Proven ability to work collaboratively with academic and professional staff to improve learning outcomes.

Experience leading and managing a team, providing direction, support and performance guidance.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, use initiative and deliver high-quality outcomes.
