Job Overview:
As the Weekend Frontline Maintenance Manager, you will lead and manage our weekend maintenance team to ensure all maintenance activities are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standard.
You’ll work closely with key stakeholders to minimize equipment downtime and maximize plant availability.
Collaboration with production, engineering, and quality teams will be essential to achieve operational goals and maintain a high-performing, reliable manufacturing environment.
This role operates across four days – Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach and manage maintenance technicians and contractors to ensure all maintenance is performed in a timely and professional manner

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and reduce downtime

Coordinate the use of subcontractors and external resources as required

Ensure compliance with EHS, food safety, quality, and regulatory standards

Support management of maintenance budgets and optimize cost efficiency.

Support capital and other engineering projects and ensure all KPIs are captured and updated daily.
Qualifications:
- Trade qualified Fitter or Electrician, or Engineering Degree

Proven experience in maintenance management within FMCG or food manufacturing (desirable)

Strong leadership, team management and interpersonal skills that foster trust, cooperation and team support.

Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.

Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and food safety compliance.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
