About the role
A Ryman nurse's work is varied, meaningful and challenging. Our pioneering spirit means we're always innovating to help our residents live their best lives. Based at our beautiful Bert Newton Retirement Village in Highett, you will use all your nursing and people skills to:
- Provide compassionate and high-quality care that is good enough for mum, and dad
- Develop lasting relationships with our residents and their families
- Assess residents and develop and review care plans
- Administer treatment and ongoing support to residents
- Use pioneering technology including our own purpose-built care app, myRyman
- Support the Clinical Manager and Unit Coordinators
We are looking for a casual to join the team to cover sick leave and annual leave across a variety of shifts (AM- 0700 - 1500), PM (1445 - 2230) and ND (2200 - 0730). Good availability is a MUST as there is potential to transition into permanent shifts.
About You
A Ryman nurse's work is varied and meaningful. To thrive in our supportive and caring environment you will have:
- A current Registered Nurse registration
- A reliable, friendly and professional manner
- The ability to share knowledge and work within a friendly, supportive team
- Experience working in Aged Care is highly desired
- Kindness, compassion and drive to deliver high-quality care to our residents
