Join our Transmission & Distribution team as an Electrical Engineer in Queensland and play a pivotal role in delivering future-ready energy solutions for clients and communities. What You’ll Do
As an Electrical Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of multi-disciplinary projects, applying your expertise in substation design and high-voltage systems to drive innovation and reliability. You will:

Deliver HV (primary) design for transmission & distribution substations, HV infrastructure, and data centre projects—covering layouts, ratings, sizing, and technical oversight.

Develop detailed specifications at both project and equipment levels.

Apply knowledge of power system protection, SCADA systems, transmission lines, underground cables, and earthing design.

Support high-voltage scope for Owner’s Engineer and Technical Due Diligence projects.

Review and verify designs and reports prepared by peers.

Mentor junior engineers and champion technical excellence.

Drive Safety-in-Design (SID) and ensure compliance with legislative requirements.

Collaborate across disciplines—civil, structural, geotechnical, secondary, drafting, and control systems.

Undertake short-term site visits as needed.

Contribute to proposals and business development initiatives.
About You
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
-
2–8+ years’ post-graduate experience in HV/EHV electrical engineering.
-
RPEQ/RPEV registration or eligibility.
-
Proven consultancy experience.
-
Strong background in substation design, HV infrastructure, cable systems, transmission & distribution utilities, renewable energy projects, and/or data centres.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide clear, robust advice to clients.

Skilled in proposal and report writing.
