Part-Time Sports Coach – Geelong
Kelly Sports is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, and committed Part-Time Sports Coach to join our growing team.
This role offers 20–25 hours per week (depending on availability), with the opportunity for the successful candidate to grow into a larger role that may include administration, program coordination, and leadership responsibilities.

Kelly Sports is a leading provider of children's sports programs, delivering quality coaching to thousands of children across schools, childcare centres, community venues, school holiday programs, and special events.
Our programs focus on developing sporting skills, confidence, teamwork, and a lifelong love of physical activity in children aged 1.5–12 years.
About the Role
The successful applicant will be responsible for planning and delivering a variety of sports programs across the Greater Geelong region, Bellarine Peninsula, Surf Coast, and occasionally through to the western suburbs of Melbourne.
Programs include:
· Before and after-school sports programs
· Lunchtime school programs
· Childcare and kindergarten sports sessions
· Kelly Mini Sports programs (ages 1.5–5 years)
· School Holiday Programs
· Birthday Parties
· Sporting Schools programs
· Community and corporate events
Typical coaching hours are spread across weekdays, with sessions running before school, during school hours, and between 3:00pm and 5:30pm.
There is also the opportunity to increase hours through involvement in our Kelly Mini Sports programs and shifts with Kelly Club, making this an ideal role for someone seeking additional and consistent work.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who takes pride in delivering programs to a high standard, is extremely reliable, and has a genuine passion for helping children develop through sport.
Previous coaching experience is strongly preferred.

Key Requirements
· Current Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle
· Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
· Must be available weekends
· Experience working with children aged 4–12 years
· Previous sports coaching experience (highly regarded)
· Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting (HLTAID012) and Provide CPR (or willingness to obtain)
· Completed training – Community Coaching Essential Skills (CCES) (or willingness to complete)
· Willingness to travel across Greater Geelong, the Bellarine, Surf Coast, and surrounding areas
· Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends
· Relevant studies or qualifications in sport, teaching, education, recreation, or a related field are advantageous
· Commitment to child safety and wellbeing

Pay: $29.45 – $32.13 per hour
