Monday to Friday roster
Casual or full-time employment available, depending on discussion and suitability

Meat processing is a critical component of Vili’s manufacturing process, with the quality, consistency and accuracy of meat preparation directly impacting the quality and integrity of Vili’s finished products.

What you’ll do

Lead, supervise and support a small team of meat processers to safely and effectively achieve daily production requirements
Work closely with Production, Quality Assurance, Stores and operational teams
Actively contribute to waste reduction, yield improvement and continuous improvement
Take a hands-on approach to supervision by working alongside the team and actively participating in day-to-day meat processing tasks.
Work in a refrigerated environment, including prolonged periods on your feet, repetitive tasks, and the safe handling and movement of meat products and associated materials.

About you

Certificate III in Meat Processing, recognised meat processing qualification or Butcher trade qualification.
Hands-on experience in meat processing, butchery or commercial meat production.
Must have flexibility to start times to suit production needs
Previous supervisory, team leadership or 2IC experience highly desirable.
Strong technical knowledge of meat preparation, processing, handling and storage.
Strong understanding of food safety, HACCP, GMP, hygiene and product quality requirements.
Strong numerical skills with accurate production, stock and record keeping.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong leadership, communication and people management skills.
Ability to identify discrepancies, investigate variations and resolve operational issues.
Ability to organise workflow, allocate resources and manage competing production priorities.
Experience monitoring yield, waste or production efficiency highly desirable.
Basic computer literacy and accurate data entry
