We’re on the lookout for a passionate and people-focused Brewing Leader to join our team at Little Creatures Brewery in Geelong.
Reporting to Brewery Manager, this is a brilliant opportunity to make your mark in a much-loved craft brewery, leading the brewing, cellars and White Rabbit teams to deliver exceptional beer, strong performance and a great team experience.
Your Role
You’ll have accountability for the people, safety, quality, performance and continuous improvement of the brewing area. Leading a team of eight direct reports and six indirect reports, you’ll set the tone for a high-performing, engaged and capable team.
You’ll bring together technical brewing expertise, strong leadership and a practical improvement mindset to help Little Creatures continue brewing great beer while building a safer, smarter and more sustainable operation.
Key Responsibilities

People and Capability: Lead, coach and develop a multi-disciplinary team of leaders and operators, building capability, engagement and a culture of continuous learning.

Safety: Champion a proactive safety culture where everyone takes ownership of risk identification, hazard reduction and safe ways of working.

Quality and Environment: Ensure brewing, cellars and White Rabbit operations meet quality, environmental and compliance standards, including critical control and quality programs.

Delivery and Performance: Deliver production, DIFOT, equipment performance and brewing NPD targets while improving extract loss, inventory management and loss recovery.

Continuous Improvement: Set the pace for a zero-waste culture and lead improvement plans through Lion’s operating system, including leader standard work and structured problem solving.

Financial and Commercial: Support budget, labour, materials, chemical and capital planning, while contributing to value creation and site cost targets.
What You Bring
You’re an experienced people leader with a strong background in brewing, manufacturing or FMCG operations. You know how to bring people with you, create clarity in complex environments and consistently deliver on your commitments.
You’ll ideally bring:

More than five years’ experience leading, developing and managing people.

More than five years’ experience in FMCG, brewing or a similar manufacturing environment.

Strong brewing, process improvement and Lean/TPM capability.

A practical understanding of root-cause analysis, corrective actions and performance improvement.

The ability to balance safety, quality, delivery, engagement and commercial outcomes.

A relevant science qualification or IBD Diploma would be highly regarded.
