About the Role
Right in the heart of the Brisbane CBD, just steps from King George Square and Queen Street Mall, George Hotel Brisbane is a convenient base for business travellers and visitors alike.

We're looking for a Guest Service Agent, both Part-time and Full-time positions available, to be the welcoming face guests meet at check-in and their go-to for anything they need throughout their stay. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys a busy, central-city hotel and takes pride in delivering efficient, genuinely friendly service.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver a warm, efficient check-in and check-out experience, ensuring every guest feels welcomed from arrival to departure.
Respond to guest enquiries in person, by phone and via email, providing accurate information and local recommendations.
Manage bookings, payments, and reservation changes accurately using the property management system.
Anticipate and resolve guest requests and concerns promptly, escalating where needed to ensure a positive outcome.
Liaise with housekeeping and other departments to coordinate room readiness and special requests.
Complete administrative and cashiering duties, including shift reconciliation and reporting.
Maintain a clean, well-presented reception and lobby area at all times.
Uphold hotel policies, procedures, and WH&S guidelines across front-of-house operations.

What You'll Bring

Experience in front office, guest services, or a similar customer-facing hospitality role is highly regarded.
A genuine passion for delivering efficient, friendly service in a busy environment.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional and friendly manner.
Good problem-solving skills and the ability to stay calm across a variety of guest situations.
Proficiency with property management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
A team player who takes ownership and pride in every guest interaction.
