Greater Shepparton City Council, situated in the heart of the Goulburn Valley, is the fifth largest provincial centre in Victoria and has a well-developed economy due to its strong agricultural and irrigation base, with major industries related to food processing, manufacturing, transport and health care. The Goulburn Valley is often referred to as 'The Food Bowl of Australia' as around 25% of the total value of Victoria's agricultural production is generated in this area.
Greater Shepparton has a population of approximately 69,000 and is culturally rich with 17.4% of residents being born overseas. The area has excellent education, recreation, cultural, social and health facilities and tourism is a developing focus for the region.
Administration Officer - Parks, Sport and Recreation
Salary: $74,916.40 per annum pro rata

Part Time (24 hrs p/w) - Permanent
Council’s Parks, Sport and Recreation Department is looking for a reliable, motivated and organised Administration Officer to join the team on a permanent part-time basis, providing support to the department in this important administrative role.
We are seeking a team-focused person who is efficient, has excellent attention to detail and is committed to providing high-quality customer service. Applicants should have strong computer skills, particularly a high level of experience using Microsoft Office programs, as well as the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
A Certificate III in Business Administration would be well regarded, although relevant experience in a similar administrative role will also be considered.
