Electrical Technical Coordinator

Our Opportunity

Work Location: Iron Bridge - Fortescue’s Iron Bridge project is located on the traditional lands of the Nyamal People.

Roster: 8D6R FIFO ex Perth

Join our Iron Bridge Process Plant Team as an Electrical Technical Coordinator and play a key role in ensuring the reliability, compliance, and performance of our fixed plant electrical systems.

This role is ideal for an experienced electrical professional who thrives on problem-solving, leading technical improvements, and driving training initiatives to keep our operations running at their best.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the technical lead for all electrical faults and breakdowns.
Provide technical support to supervisors and 2ICs.
Work with Engineering to manage capital replacements and upgrades.
Oversee electrical projects to ensure safety and compliance.
Ensure the availability of critical spares to mitigate operational risks.
Drive technical training programs for supervisory teams.

Qualifications and Experience

Experience in an electrical fixed plant role.
Proven expertise in PLC instrumentation and VSD fault finding.
“A” Class Electrical Licence and High Voltage Switching certification.
Strong understanding of mine safety regulations and electrical statutory requirements.
Demonstrated leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Experience with SAP and instrumentation qualifications highly regarded.
