Full Job Description

Representing is a wholesale and sales agency working with FMCG, health and wellness brands across food, beverage and supplements. They get great brands into the right hands, onto the right shelves and in front of great retailers, from leading grocery independents and health food stores to pharmacies, specialty retailers and national retail groups.

Born in Melbourne and now growing brands Australia wide, they do the groundwork behind retail growth. Think national ranging, new store acquisition, launches, rollouts, tastings, visual merchandising and everything in between.

Here to build brands people want to stock, retailers want to work with, and customers want to discover.

About the role:

Representing is growing, and building out their presence across WA — and they're looking for an up-and-coming Business Development Representative to get out on the road, learn the trade and start building their own territory. Based in WA and reporting into the Sydney BDM, you'll be supported and trained as you grow existing accounts and open new doors across independents, grocery and health & wellness. This is a role with a real runway — as you develop, so does your patch, with a clear path to grow into a full BDM.

Key Responsibilities:

Get out on the road building relationships with independent retailers, grocery, health food and other stockists across WA.
Support and grow existing accounts — increasing range, distribution and sell-through.
Learn to spot and win new in-store opportunities: displays, activations, signage and secondary placements.
Help plan and run product tastings and in-store activations to drive trial and sell-through.
Manage your territory, pipeline and account activity through the customised wholesale portal.
Represent the full portfolio of brands with genuine passion, building your product knowledge as you go.
Check in regularly with the Sydney BDM — sharing wins, bringing questions and learning the ropes.
Work closely with the national sales team on planograms, strategy and execution.

What we're looking for:

Some experience in sales, retail or FMCG — or a genuine hunger to learn the trade (you don't need to have done it all before).
An interest in grocery, health & wellness, food, supplements or beverage.
A natural relationship-builder — personable, proactive and genuinely motivated by the chase and the close.
Eager to learn, take feedback and grow — happy to check in and be guided as you find your feet.
An entrepreneurial spirit and not scared to get your hands dirty.
Based in WA with knowledge of (or eagerness to learn) the local market, and a full driver's licence.
