IT SUPPORT - LEVEL 1 (FOUNDRY LABS & MADISON MARCUS)

The Position
An exciting opportunity has developed for an experienced IT Support – Level 1, candidate to join our successful and growing team, based in the Sydney CBD offices.
We offer work as a ‘whole project’ approach, providing expert services from inception to delivery and completion.
The position is based in our new stunning Sydney CBD office which boasts glass walls allowing ample natural light, impressive board, and meetings rooms, lots of break out spaces, open plan seating and hybrid working arrangements.
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, your duties will include:
1. IT Duties
a. Support and maintenance of company data and technological infrastructure;
b. Analysis, research and implementation of security protocols and procedures;
c. Creation, management and implementation of IT policies and documentation;
d. IT vendor management, follow up, and relationship building;
e. Ensuring that MM follows the best practices in IT administration and cyber security;
f. Providing technical assistance and remote computer or network support to end users;
g. Creation and maintenance of an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals, and IT policies, in line with company QMS and / or updated accordingly in QMS;
h. Assistance with the creation, testing and deployment of in-house software projects;
i. Administration of Webex Phone and Meeting system;
j. Assisting with data sanitisation and management of database systems, not limited to LEAP, Practice Evolve, Action Step or other products implemented by the firm;
k. Creation of instruction videos, GIFs or other education material on software products or services implemented by the firm;
l. Adhoc business innovation and IT business needs such as:
- Maintenance, repair, and upgrades to the website;
- Assistance in the assessment and implementation of software used by marketing or other business units such as HR / Payroll (Employment Hero);
- Management of marketing related software and platforms (not limited to email, SMS, podcasting services, Monday etc);
- Supporting coordination of events - IT equipment and audio-visual presentation.
2. General Administration:
a. General administrative tasks
b. Creating, managing, and removing user accounts
c. Inventory/Asset management
d. Investigation and utilisation of cost saving measures
e. Providing training to staff on time saving measures, cyber security, and IT systems
f. Reporting of Phone System metrics and video calling utilization
g. Reviewing cost-effective and innovative solutions for the company.
h. Assisting supervisor with upkeep, configuration and reliable operation of computer systems, servers, data security system and third-party providers.
3. Microsoft Azure:
a. Creation, management and removing of user accounts and groups;
b. Monitoring and analysis of security logs and reports;
c. Maintenance of our In-tune environment; and
d. Updating of security policies where needed.
You will possess, qualifications including:
1. Certificate IV in Business Administration or equivalent level in IT;
2. Computer Science Degree (or studying) advantageous;
3. Good knowledge of IT operating systems, especially Windows, Exchange and Citrix (Azure, desirable);
4. Basic understanding of network administrations, network infrastructure of the company, database administration, Server/Web Administration and Security Systems Administrators; and
5. Willing to upskill to keep current with technology needs e.g. Cyber Security.
SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:
1. Good organisational and time management skills;
2. Great communication and interpersonal skills;
3. Ability to handle data with confidentiality;
4. IT savvy;
5. Advanced computer skills, including a high degree of proficiency in MS Suite;
6. 2 years office administrative and/or 3-5 years of professional work experience in the IT sector e.g. Level 1 or 2 in IT support experience (in Legal desirable);
7. Strong initiative, reliability, accuracy and organisational skills are essential;
8. The ability to effectively prioritise tasks and meet deadlines is of extreme importance; and
9. Working for various professionals will require mature business acumen, discretion and respecting confidential matters of a sensitive nature is crucial.

Pay: $58,000.00 – $69,000.00 per year
