About the Role
We’re looking for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Assistant to join our Operations team in Silverwater.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll play an important part in keeping our warehouse running smoothly. Your day-to-day will include picking and packing customer orders, receiving and managing stock, loading and unloading vehicles, and delivering products to customers when required.
We’re looking for someone who is organised, safety-focused and takes pride in their work. You’ll be a valued part of the warehouse team, so a positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to pitch in and get the job done are essential.
What you’ll be doing
Pick, pack and dispatch customer orders accurately and efficiently.
Receive, check and put away incoming stock.
Load and unload delivery vehicles safely.
Deliver products to customer sites when required.
Complete stock checks, cycle counts and stocktakes to maintain inventory accuracy.
Keep the warehouse clean, organised and safe.
Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely and responsibly.
Follow all WHS policies, procedures and safe work practices.
Assist the wider warehouse team with general duties and day-to-day tasks.
Provide friendly and professional service when dealing with customers and deliveries.
Identify and report stock, safety or operational issues when they arise.
Skills and Experiences:
What you’ll bring
Essential
Previous warehouse experience, including pick and pack.
Current Forklift Licence.
Current Driver’s Licence.
Ability to safely perform manual handling and physical warehouse tasks.
A strong commitment to workplace safety.
Reliable attendance and a willingness to be part of a team.
We’d love to see
Experience using warehouse or business systems (NetSuite experience is highly regarded).
Experience using power tools in a workshop, warehouse or production environment.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Strong organisation and the ability to prioritise tasks.
A practical, hands-on approach to problem solving.
A positive can-do attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.
