Permanent Part Time role - 1 day per week with the potential to grow to two days
Role covering Wollongong to Nowra.

We are currently seeking Registered Nurse who is passionate about the care, and medical care, of complex care participants in the community.
The key purpose of this role is to undertake a variety of general nursing duties under the direction of the Head of Clinical Care including client’s assessment, medication management, care planning/plan review and liaising with appropriate stakeholders to ensure appropriate care for clients in accordance with Maxlife Care Mission Statement.

Responsibilities;
You will collaborate with the Operations Team to achieve the clinical strategic objectives;

Use your growth mindset to promote a continuous improvement program to ensure standards of care are upheld, exceeded and maintained.
Acts as a role model and mentor for Area Managers, Team Leaders, DSWE and colleagues.
Develop and review of new and existing relevant protocols.
Provide relevant care and clinical training to ensure staff competence –delivering education and training to our front-line workers.
Attend to Clients as and when required to deliver specific clinical care / interventions (ie wound care, supra pubic catheter care, skin care)
Attend and actively participate in client meetings as a representative of the clinical team.
You will also review / analyze incident reports in conjunction with the Head of Risk, and advise the Chief Medical Officer of related issues.

To be successful in this position, you will have the following;

Be an AHPRA registered nurse.
Qualifications in relevant field and minimum 2 years’ experience working in a clinical role will be advantageous.
Flexible to travel, with a current Driver’s License & own car,
Possess strong focus on person centered, exceptional care and a commitment to quality client outcomes.
Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management.
The ability to manage change and provide responsive services to meet client needs.
