Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Assistant Director of Food & Beverage to support the leadership of our diverse and dynamic Food & Beverage operation, including restaurants, bars, conferencing and events, and in-room dining.
You will be responsible for:

Supporting the strategic and operational management of all hotel Food & Beverage outlets.

Driving revenue growth and profitability through innovative promotions, action plans, and guest-focused initiatives.

Maintaining Sofitel luxury service standards and brand excellence across all operations.

Leading and developing Food & Beverage Managers, Supervisors, and outlet teams.

Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, payroll planning, and financial reporting.

Monitoring market trends, guest feedback, and competitor activity to identify business opportunities.

Collaborating closely with Sales, Marketing, Front Office, Housekeeping, and Culinary teams to deliver seamless guest experiences.

Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety, liquor licensing, and company policies.

Championing employee engagement, professional development, and a positive workplace culture.
Qualifications
-
Previous leadership experience within Food & Beverage operations in an upscale or luxury hotel environment.

Experience at senior management level within Food & Beverage is highly regarded.

Diploma or bachelor's degree in hospitality, Hotel Management, Food & Beverage, Catering, Sales, or a related discipline preferred.

Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA & RSG) certification, or ability to obtain.

Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasting, labour costs, and revenue initiatives.

Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and develop high-performing teams.

Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to luxury service delivery.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business needs.
