You see the big picture, you’ve always worked on a grand scale, and now you’re ready to re-focus on grand impact.
Your innovative mindset is key to creating solutions to complex problems. Our systems drive our organisational success and underpin every journey our customers take. This is your opportunity to be part of an expert team who build and refine seamless technology experiences.
In this role, you will:
Play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our solutions across the testing lifecycle. Your primary focus will be on executing manual and automated testing activities, including functional, integration, regression, system, and field testing, while managing defects and supporting quality outcomes. You will be responsible for analysing business and technical requirements, developing test strategies, designing test scenarios and test cases, and preparing test data to ensure comprehensive coverage.
In partnership with vendors and internal stakeholders, you will provide test governance, communicate progress through regular status reporting, and deliver insights on risks, defects, and test metrics. You will also contribute to automation and continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to increase test efficiency, developing or maintaining automation scripts, enhancing test coverage, and sharing best practices across the team. Additionally, you will support test environments, release validation, production verification, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities to help deliver high-quality solutions into production.
This role will report into a Test Manager, and most of your work will be working on the ONG (Opal Next Gen) project. The Opal Next Gen program refers to the full modernisation of the Opal ticketing system to deliver smarter, digital-first, integrated public transport across NSW.
