Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner (Contract Practitioner)

Community Living Options (CLO) is expanding its network of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) subcontractors and is seeking experienced practitioners to partner with us.

If you're looking for greater flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to deliver high-quality PBS services while managing your own capacity, we'd love to hear from you.

At CLO, subcontractors are an important part of our service model. We engage experienced practitioners to support participant demand and help ensure timely access to Positive Behaviour Support services.

Partnering with CLO offers:

Flexibility to determine your own capacity and availability.
Access to referral opportunities as they become available.
Opportunities to work with participants presenting with a range of behavioural support needs, including complex and high-risk presentations.
Administrative systems that support service delivery and invoicing processes.
The option to access additional professional support, consultation and clinical governance services by arrangement.
A collaborative relationship with a provider committed to quality outcomes for participants.

As a subcontractor, you can:

Choose your capacity and availability to suit your professional and personal commitments.
Focus on delivering Positive Behaviour Support services while partnering with an established provider.
Access referral opportunities, including participants with complex support needs.
Maintain your independence and autonomy while working alongside a respected PBS team.
Access additional consultation, practice support and clinical governance options by arrangement.

Meaningful and Diverse Work

At CLO, no two participants are the same. Our practitioners work with people across a broad range of disabilities, support needs, ages, and life experiences, providing Positive Behaviour Support that promotes inclusion, independence, skill development, and improved quality of life.

Our referrals range from early intervention and capacity-building work through to supporting individuals with complex behavioural needs, psychosocial disability, forensic involvement, and high-risk presentations.

We're looking for practitioners who are adaptable, person-centred, and confident working collaboratively with participants, families, support teams, and other professionals to achieve meaningful and sustainable outcomes.

Who We're Looking For

You will be:

An NDIS-registered PBS Practitioner (Proficient or Advanced).
Experienced in working with participants who have complex behavioural support needs.
Knowledgeable about restrictive practices, including the associated risks, impacts and strategies for reducing and eliminating their use.
A strong report writer with excellent assessment and communication skills.
Able to work independently while maintaining high-quality practice standards.
A minimum of two years' PBS experience is highly desirable.
