Beachside Veterinary Surgery is nestled in the heart of Coolum on the stunning Sunshine Coast of Australia, just an hour’s drive from Brisbane. With easy access to the beautiful beachside, it’s the perfect location to unwind and recharge after a busy day.

The Opportunity
This role is a great opportunity for a Vet looking to take the next step in their career and gain leadership experience in a supportive environment. Whether you’re ready to step into your first leadership role or looking to build on your existing experience, you’ll be well supported throughout your journey.
You’ll join a boutique-style clinic with a close-knit team, working alongside one other Vet and 2–3 experienced nurses. With the support of a Practice Manager and Relationship Manager, you’ll have guidance as you develop your leadership skills while enjoying a varied caseload across consulting, surgery and team collaboration.
This is a 4-day work week (30-38 hours per week), with flexibility available for the right candidate. There are no after-hours or on-call requirements, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while growing your career.
To be successful in this role, you will have:

Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) or an equivalent recognised in Australia

Experience within a senior GP role (clinical, surgical will be highly regarded)

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Calm, compassionate, and professional demeanour

High attention to detail and strong time management skills
