What you’ll do
- Developing predictive models that support customer, marketing and commercial strategies
- Interpreting complex datasets to identify opportunities and drive business outcomes
- Partnering with stakeholders to understand challenges and translate them into analytical solutions
- Presenting insights, recommendations and modelling outcomes to technical and non-technical audiences
- Influencing decision-making through evidence-based analysis and strategic thinking.
Your experience
- Tertiary qualifications in statistics, mathematics, computer science, data science or a related discipline
- Demonstrated experience building and deploying predictive or statistical models in a commercial environment
- Strong capability in SQL, Python or R, with experience working across large and complex datasets
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence outcomes
- Experience translating data into actionable business insights and managing competing priorities

This role is well suited to a commercially minded Data Scientist who enjoys balancing technical analysis with stakeholder engagement. You'll thrive if you're curious, collaborative and motivated by using data to solve real business problems. The role centres on understanding the business, influencing strategy and delivering commercially valuable modelling outcomes rather than purely technical model development.
