The Armidale Waldorf School is seeking a Site Coordinator (Maintenance and Cleaning) to oversee the effective operation, maintenance and presentation of the school’s facilities, grounds and infrastructure, ensuring a safe, compliant and well-maintained environment for students, staff and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Take an active, hands-on role in daily maintenance, repairs, cleaning and practical improvement projects across the campus.
- Plan and monitor preventative and reactive maintenance, inspections and servicing.
- Maintain accurate records and provide updates to our asset registers, master plan and site documentation.
- Complete weekly rosters for our cleaning team and monitor quality of cleaning
About the Role:
This varied role combines hands-on maintenance with planning and coordination. The role provides supervision and coordination of cleaning and maintenance functions while supporting compliance, asset management and continuous improvement across site operations.
As a key member of the school community, the Site Coordinator contributes to the stewardship of the campus and supports opportunities for students to engage with and care for the living environment

This role is suited to an experienced handyperson, tradie, maintenance professional or practical all-rounder who:

- has strong organisation and administration skills
- can confidently coordinate contractors, staff and volunteers
Desirable qualifications and tickets:
Relevant trade qualifications, maintenance tickets or certifications such as a White Card, Working at Heights or chainsaw operation would be highly regarded.
Required Criteria:
- Current NSW Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain one
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate, or willingness to obtain them
- Police Check, or willingness to obtain one
- Current unrestricted Class C driver licence
- You are physically capable and comfortable with the hands-on nature of the role, including lifting, carrying, using tools, climbing ladders and working outdoors.
